30/04/2011 - 07/05/2011
23 Wainwrights, 53.5 miles and 17,540 feet
After the dry conditions in March and April it didn't seem possible that the
weather would be kind to us for the first week in May. As it turned out we
couldn't have had a better week - 6 days of sunshine. The first walk from
Troutbeck was completed as we travelled north but the rest were centred around
Keswick, focusing on 'bagging' more Wainwrights for Sheila and repeating summits
for Marie and myself.
